I think there's truth in that. Having "bad" feelings (not really bad, but uncomfortable feelings) is a part of our life.

But what about "Men are that they might have joy"?

Yeah. That's true. But we're not supposed to have joy ALL THE TIME. There's a time for happy and a time for sad.
